The T-Wolves defense led by rookie Big Saint controlled the tempo.
Ultimately, turnovers and maintaining possession of the ball hurt the Mavs in the first contest. The T-Wolves forced 12 turnovers in the game and kept Dallas under 50 percent from field-goal range.
Finals MVP BearDaBeast and JMoney combined for 43 points on 18 shots from the field. FEAST also snagged 17 total rebounds, while MavsGG grabbed 16 as a team.

It was a similar story in game two of the series.
After the first quarter, T-Wolves Gaming held MavsGG to only five points, scoring on only two of 14 attempts.
Due to technical difficulties, the game required a reboot in the middle of the second quarter. Even with the momentum reset, the deficit appeared too great for Dallas to overcome.
MavsGG made only 5-of-15 attempts from behind the arc on one of the team’s worst offensive nights.
BearDaBeast earned 31 points and seven assists, and every other player almost scored in double figures. As a team, the T-Wolves shot 58 percent from the field.
