With the 2022 NBA 2K League draft less than three weeks away, Mavs Gaming agreed to a trade with Heat Check Gaming and Gen G, exchanging their 1st, 26th and 28th picks for the 6th, 8th and 33rd picks.

“This is a deep draft with a lot of talent,” said Mavs Gaming Head Coach LT Fairley. “We were offered an opportunity to add two amazing draft picks in the top ten opposed to just one. Overall, I have great confidence in our draft process, so this will put us in a great spot for this upcoming season.”

After the fourth season of the NBA 2K League, Mavs Gaming retained center Gerald “Sick One“ Knapp, and are in optimal position to fill out the roster with solid talent. The fifth season of the NBA 2K League tips off with the draft on Saturday, Feb. 26.
