MAVS GAMING FINISHES 2020 NBA 2K LEAGUE SEASON

AUGUST 25, 2020 (DALLAS, TX) – Last week, Mavs Gaming played in the first round of the 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs Delivered by DoorDash against Blazer5 Gaming. After a best-of-three game format played hard by MavsGG, the team fell to its rival, 2-0, eliminating them from the remainder of the playoffs. The official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks finished its season following the loss and was awarded $30,000 of the playoff’s prize pool.

“I’m proud of this team,” said Mavs Gaming Head Coach LT Fairley. “The drive and commitment they have shown this season has been incredible.”

Mavs Gaming sat in the seventh seed in the 2020 NBA 2K League playoffs. This was the team’s second playoff appearance in their three-season run. Teams that clinched a spot in the playoffs this year looked forward to a portion of the $920,000 prize pool that would be split by all ten opponents. Mavs Gaming concluded the season with $30,000 of that prize pool and a 10-6 record in the regular season.
