Mavs Gaming (1-0) faces Wizards District Gaming (0-1) this Friday at 6:00 PM CT. This is their first meeting since June 30, 2018 in season one, a game Mavs Gaming lost by the score of 72-65. In the latest episode of Plugged In, Dimez called this game “the most anticipated game of the season.”

MavsGG won its first game of the season last week against Grizz Gaming; 46-45. Dimez: 12 points & 10 assists | PeteBeBallin: 12 points & 6 rebounds. MavsGG pulled out the win in the final moments of the game after the Grizz turned the ball over at the sideline as the team couldn’t convert on final possessions. Dimez earned his first double-double this season by completing the game-winning assist to PeteBeBallin, and he was named Intel Player of the Game. He went 6-of-10 from the field, for a 60% field goal percentage. His final stat line was to 12 points, 10 assists, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block with 4 turnovers.

WIZARDS DISTRICT GAMING PREVIEW

Wizards District Gaming suffered a tough loss in its first game of the regular season to Kings Guard Gaming, losing 59-47. The Kings Guard defense maintained pressure on the WizDG backcourt forcing 11 turnovers in the game. After struggling in the first half, small forward ReeseDaGod began to find his rhythm in the second half finishing with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Mavs Gaming’s former center Dayfri neared a double-double with 11 points, 7 rebounds,  and 4 assists.
