THE TIPOFF Recap, Week 1 Preview

Mavs Gaming tipped off season 4 with strong gameplay in the THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T. The team was not scheduled to play on day 1, but concluded day 2 by advancing to day 3 after beating out the teams’ group opponents (Group 6). The tournament consisted of 7 groups, Group 6 included Jazz Gaming, Blazer5 Gaming, Mavs Gaming and Lakers Gaming.

Unfortunately, Mavs Gaming did not secure a spot in the semifinals after falling to Wizards District Gaming on day 3.
However, the team is energized and ready to take on their first opponent of the regular season, T-Wolves Gaming AKA THE TIPOFF champions, at 6 p.m. CST on Wednesday, May 26. The Dallas team will play 2 matchups against the T-Wolves. Fans can tune in by going to the NBA 2K League’s Twitch or YouTube channels to watch.
